1. 辅音+辅音
1）失爆 [b] [p] [d] [t] [g] [k] + 与其不同的辅音，在发爆破音时，只阻塞气流却不将之释放，只做口型不送气。
例：black board breakfast sit down hot dog good teacher bad boy should be put it down
2）击穿
当前面一个单词以复音节结尾，后一个单词以字母h的发音开头时，字母h不再发音，发生击穿现象。
例：I like her in his car ask him
3）叠合
当前一个单词的结尾和后一个单词的开头由完全相同道德辅音节构成时，发生叠合现象。
例：a bad dog good day I like canndy take care book case big game tame monkey
2. 辅音+元音
1）[r] + 元音
末尾为r+元音，[r] 的发音为卷舌e(倒的e)与r
例：I have read your article for instance far away a number of
2）[l] + 元音
末尾有l或le的浊辅音O+元音，则需加一个[l]音
例：couple of double of LED LEE I will ask him later
3）[n] + 元音
末尾浊辅音的字母n，需要加一个[n]音
例：an apple an aritcle an answer an old lady pen and paper
4）[t] + 元音
末尾的t需要发一个[t]与[d]之间的音
例：so it is get in get it out of here put it off take it easy not alone not at all put it up
3. 元音+元音
1）当前面单词以[u]、[u:]结尾，后面的单词元音开头，在一起连读时，中间要加半元音[w]
例：just do it go on doing who often who else
2）但前面单词以[i]、[i:]，后面的单词元音开头，在一起连读时，需要加半元音[j]
例：be on time say it she is may I I am try it see it weigh it up
